Mixi hit 4 million registered users on the 15th of May.(reported by IT Media)
As of 5/29, there were 4.22Million registered users, and approximately 3 million active users.
Additionally, Mixi currently serves up the 2nd highest number of banner impressions in Japan. (again reported by IT Media -some interesting tables and graphs)
In february this year, Mixi served up 1.123 billion impressions. That is still far behind Yahoo Japan, which delivered 44.7 billion impressions during the same period. A list of top sites is shown here.
Reach was 2.23M unique users, approximately 1/15th of Yahoo Japan, and less than half that of Excite Japan, which delivered approx 600M impressions, but Mixi has a lot of valuable M1 and F1 users, and much of the banner advertising seems to be targeted at this market.
CTR was 0.04%, double Yahoo's 0.02%.
Mixi thinks there is still room from growth, as they have only 6.5% penetration of the domestic user base, compared to 20% for MySpace in the US.
