Krispy Kreme is coming to Japan!
Lotte and Revamp are setting up Krispy Kreme Japan by end of May and will be operating under a franchise agreement, and plan to have 30-50 stores within 5 years.
Krispy Kreme had some "issues" a while back, but hopefully the financial difficulties are behind them, and we will see Krispy Kreme doughnuts in Japan.
I know we know have Doughnut Plant doughnuts available in a bunch of stores and Dean & Deluca also sells them in Tokyo, but I actually prefer Krispy Kremes.
Yes, they are loaded with way too much sugar, but I need to treat myself.
